Accuwright designs machines and process equipment in-house: hoppers, chutes, unload frames, transitions, fixtures, machine rebuilds and the material-handling pieces that tie a line together. Customers have relied on decades of that experience to design solutions for difficult problems — often ones another vendor had already walked away from.

And we will say the quiet part plainly: we are not an engineering firm. Structural and load-bearing work — platforms, mezzanines, foundations — is drawn, detailed, fabricated and installed to spec, with stamped engineering brought in where the work requires it. Knowing exactly where that line sits is part of doing this well.

Most fab shops send their cutting out and wait in someone else’s queue. Ours now runs in the same building as the drawing and the weld booth — a part goes from the CAD model to laser-cut steel to a certified weld without leaving the shop or the schedule. Cleaner cuts, tighter fit-up, faster turnarounds, and one less vendor between your deadline and your steel.

For the shutdown work this shop lives on, that matters: when a replacement part is discovered mid-window, the cutting happens here, that day — not next week, somewhere else.

Fabrication that drives results.

Most of this work happens on a clock that does not forgive. A shutdown window measured in days, a downtime installation where the line restarts Monday whether the steel fits or not, a replacement that has to drop into a running plant with no room — and no time — for error. That is the work we build for: measured right, fabricated finished, installed once. Never missed a startup in 25 years, and fabrication is a big part of why.

Does Accuwright design what it builds?

For machines and process equipment — yes, in-house: hoppers, chutes, unload frames, fixtures, rebuilds and material-handling components, drawn by the people who will build and install them. For structural and load-bearing work we are deliberately precise: we are not an engineering firm. Platforms, mezzanines and foundations are drawn, detailed, fabricated and installed to spec, with stamped engineering brought in where the work requires it.

Can you replace a part or machine section that’s no longer made?

That is one of our favorite jobs. We measure the original in your plant, draw the replacement, fabricate it in the shop and install it in your production window — often better than the original, because decades of installing machinery teach you where the original was weak.

Can you work inside a shutdown window?

That is where this work lives. Downtime installations run on days, not weeks — so the steel is measured, fabricated and trial-fitted before the window opens, and the crew that built it is the crew that installs it. Never missed a startup in 25 years.

Do you cut your own steel?

Yes — on our own Nukon fiber laser cutting system, in-house. Parts go from the CAD drawing to cut steel to the weld booth without leaving the building, which is how a replacement discovered mid-shutdown gets cut the same day instead of joining an outside vendor’s queue.

What welding standards do you work to?

Welded to ASME and AWS code by certified welders, in the shop and in the field, pressure-tested and documented where the scope calls for it. Process and sanitary piping, high-purity work and specialty exhaust are welded to match their service.

Do you install what you fabricate?

Yes — that is the point. The same contractor that cuts and welds the steel rigs it in, sets it, levels it and ties it into the line. One contract from drawing to running, with no handoff between a fab shop and an installer who have never met.
